Challenge
Show Hope was approaching its 20th anniversary with a clear mission: to expand its Adoption Aid program in response to sharply rising adoption costs and a surge in grant applications. With expenses now covered at $8,000–$12,000 per family and applications up over 30% in two years, Show Hope needed to:
1) Raise $400,000 in April to fund grants for roughly 40 additional families.
2) Inspire donors by highlighting both the organization’s two‑decade legacy and the urgent need ahead.
Results
$450,000 Raised in April 2025: Achieved 100% of the campaign goal, enabling 40 families to receive grants.
Expanded Grant Capacity: Contributed to Show Hope’s ability to award 420 grants in FY25—an $800,000 increase year‑over‑year.
My Role & Impact
As Director, Cinematographer, and Editor, I worked with the internal Marcomm team at Show Hope to execute the creative vision from concept through distribution—ensuring the campaign’s storytelling resonated with existing supporters and energized new donors. These videos became the cornerstone assets that drove engagement, ultimately helping Show Hope to exceed their fundraising targets.
